Cacophonous Silence
JANE : Aloud to herself
jane : Thinking unheard
JANE : Uff! these books, let me start with this one.
jane : Man, this is so much better than a computer anyday
JANE : No not this one maybe this one first.
jane : I hope I will finish all this in time.
JANE : Yes, I can.
jane : Else I will become the laughing stock of the nation.I have to finish do I have a choice.I have put my head to the mill, whats the use of counting the number of times I am churned now. (A literal translation of a hindi doha)
JANE : Now this is "the" book.
In total silence she sat on her bed with books all around. She lifted one to read and immediately put it away and took another book. Her silence and confusion was the outward expression of the inner cacophony and turmoil. So she sat in cacophonous silence.

Hey! :) Nice blog. I start to wonder about Jack, John, Jill, and Jane... what they look like, how old they are... How about an oil portrait for every post? ;) Maybe after GRE, huh? :)
Yup, not a bad idea. Shammu can do the paintings. I can't paint too well.
